Spandoc Time Bank Fee per candidate / fortnight for 2012 is::
 

¹ A registered participant sharing accommodation with another participant registered in the Spandoc Exchange or Spandoc English.

Fee includes:

• Accommodation

• Transport within London
   
• 30-35 hours of tuition and activities at the Rushey Green Time Bank
   
• Two books on time banking (No more throw away people, by Edgar Cahn, and Your life or your money, by Martin Simons) plus other preparatory materials.

It does not include:

• Flight to London

• Meals

The placement will not be confirmed until payment of the fee, which should be made within 4 weeks of notification of selection. Failure to pay the fee after 4 weeks of notification of selection will result in cancellation of the booking.

Couples:

Accommodation is provided in a one-bedroom flat with a double bed. The participant may share it with one other guest if they wish, free of charge.

Form of payment

• Bank transfer to Spandoc's bank account.

Cancellation Fees

Cancellation may be requested in writing at any time before the starting date. Spandoc Time Bank fee will be refunded minus a cancellation fee dependent on the notice given:

> 90 days before the commencement of the stay                  50 €
61-90 days before the commencement of the stay             250 €
15-60 days before the commencement of the stay             750 €
2-14 days before the commencement of the stay            1.500 €

If the registered participant was a "sharer" (with another registerd participant) and their companion had not canceled, an added 500 € will be retained as compensation for inappropriate discount to the companion. (This does not preclude a possible agreement betwen sharers wereby the non-cancelling participant covers this amount).

Cancellations made after the last Friday prior to the comencement of the stay will have no refund.

In the rare event that Spandoc cancels the stay, the fee paid will be returned. Except in the case of force majeure, a compensation amount will be added, equal to the amounts shown in the table above according to the notice given, up to a maximum of 1.500 €. This compensation will be in the following format:

• First 500 €: paid by bank transfer to the participant.
   
• Next 1.000 €: paid in the form of Bono Beca, which the participant may use for a possible further stay (for which they would have preferential registration) or another Spandoc activity.
